You (I, we) don’t see things as they are but as you perceive them to be. A difference as enormous as it is subtle. When you’re preparing for a challenge, be it a 12-week Transformation, a marathon or a even a new career, know that you interpret it through your own lens of experience. Your attention will zero in on the the things you’ve learned to be aware of. As a result, you get derailed by things—some times relatively little things—that were hidden in plain sight.

How long would it take you to ride an exercise bike for 185 hours? No, this is not a riddle or IQ test. I mean it quite literally. If you rode a respectable 30 minutes, 4 days per week you’d finish in just under 2 years—93 weeks to be exact and Tom Seabourne would nip you by a mere 92 weeks.
