Chasing the Ghost with 6-Pack Abs

Thu, Sep 20, 2012

I was waiting for my Americano at Starbucks this morning when the late 30’s guy next to me, just out of the blue says…

“It’s like chasing a ghost.”

“Huh?,” I said, sounding startled and looking baffled.

“Getting a fit body back…”

“You know someone is there, you’ve seen something—I’m pretty sure—but every time I reach for it I come up empty handed.”

“Yeah, sounds about right,” I said.

He is right. It’s the truth. More often than not, regardless of the program, or plan, we just can’t quite get hold of that shifty 6-pack abs ghost.

Bulging biceps, 6-pack abs, and the perfect butt are all damned elusive.

Wanting it isn’t enough.

It’s like being in a relationship that you want more than him/her—you end up being run around.

Firm and fit may not want you as bad as you want it.

But that doesn’t mean you have to make a fool of yourself, jumping through flaming hoops to drop the same 9 pounds, over
and over.

Outside In is Broke

The problem is that most all of us have made an unconscious agreement to pretend that fat-loss and fitness is an outside-in activity.

That’s to say, that we believe it to be largely mechanical in nature, much like a math problem. One we can solve with a treadmill in place of slide rule.

And all the “facts” support this false belief.

Be it the latest program, plan or carb-dancing strategy, it’s all about doing this right thing, and that right next thing.

We treat getting lean like we’re assembling a watch: It’s all mechanics.

Because of this agreement we’re fed a new “Program” every day, a new diet a new “how.”

And like so many millions of fish in a big pond we can’t stop biting every shinny, spinning fat-loss program that comes by.

Good news (for the marketers selling them) is that when this one fails—or your fail it—they’ve got the next chocolate coated deity already on the fiction drawing board.

The Problem is…

Yeah, but why do they fail?

The problem with the outside-in approach is “doing” the next right thing doesn’t necessarily make us the “right” person.

It does happen—of course—that one, in however many tens of thousands, where doing the right things triggers a permanent inside change.

… suddenly becoming the “right person.”

But that’s an occurrence as rare as winning the lottery.

When you’re taking all the right actions, most the struggle and resistance is coming from the part of ourselves that’s not there yet—that’s not on board.

We are resistant creatures and our habits and desires die hard.

Inside Out Is Leverage

While I detest much of the movie, The Secret’s, excess marketing hype, it does contain a truth… Be it abundance thinking or positive psychology we can’t deny that action follows thought.

And good thinking usually follows time without thinking—as in meditation.

Whatever it is we need…

Be it motivation, discipline, focus… all these game changing intangibles arise not from the peak of your biceps but between your ears (for lack of a more accurate map).

Hence, it’s not enough to stop reaching for the next thing—the next great fatloss hope.

At some point, when you want the game to change, and you want leverage to change it…

You’ve got to make a change inside out.

Get in, below and behind the all and mighty thinking machine and set some new, strong and clear ground.

A solid ground, a true feeling of serenity and strength is my wish for you—one to aim for— and I know you can have.

When you feel your center ground begin to arise your entire relationship with the world will shift at once.

You will find yourself taking right action, choice driven, discipline free.

It’s this clarity of action, confidence in every move, that can arise only from within—and that changes your relationship with life: From food, to exercise, to time itself.

It’s this empowering center that I spoke to in my recent article on meditation and strength—to which I received a load of questions and inquiry.

So much so… so many requests for more than I asked the good, wise and grounded people at iAwake technologies to do you and I a favor…

You see, I want to share this brain-entrainment technology. I’m a client and a long time fan.

I love what it does and see it’s potential as limitless.

But I also know that this technology can be a bit overwhelming and pricey—the complete PMP 3 package running near to four hundred dollars.

Of course, that’s in comparison to some lesser technologies that want to compete that run closer to a thousand bucks.

They Made This For You

I requested a ZEN-Like Technology that could help us meditate, breath and really just center, relax, and boost our recovery—helping regenerate our bodyies and minds.

THE BEST OF THE BEST

But not too much…. keep it within reach. Give me what I need to get in, to get some strong results and to fall in love with it.

And that’s just what you’re find here in this EXCLUSIVE package.

…for my friends only of the most popular programs, including…

All for the lowest, one time only price I’ve never seen before…

May you enjoy this opportunity is vibrant health, strength and happiness.
