Picture Yourself Here This Summer
There’s no time like the present.
That’s never more true than when you’re ready for change—creating new momentum to get your body and life moving in a new direction.
If you’re feeling less than fully engaged in your fitness, behind in your desire for a beach ready body or feel like you’ve just been going through the motions, this is an invitation you can’t refuse.
Angie and I just got back from a weekend away celebrating our wedding anniversary.
As much as we love and missed them, it was refreshing to spend some time, just the two of us, the kids at home.
While the break was refreshing what was missing was my usual level of energy.
Traveling back to Denver yesterday I was just feeling “the weight” of what I’ve been eating lately—way too much of anything and everything. And my training has not been nearly intense enough to make up for it—not that you ever really can.
I’m feeling heavy, soft and overall lousy… And I’m sick and tired of it. It’s time to kick my body into high-gear.
It’s time for The Reboot!
For too long I’ve been training with a rhythm steady only in its unsteadiness. Cycling season is here now, summer is just around the corner and I’m feeling behind the eight-ball, far too soft and average. Doesn’t help that it seems I’ve been sick with about a dozen different versions of a head cold since the New Year—thanks to having young kids in school.
Yes, it’s time for The Reboot!
That’s right. I’ve decided to take action—to dive in. No waiting for the perfect moment. NOW is the right time for the ultimate body, mind and life kick-start: the 12-Day Reboot from Strength for LIFE (download the Full Base Camp Reboot from Chapter 5 below).
If you’re lacking clarity and driving motivation, if you’re behind getting into “summer shape” or have been procrastinating in your fitness Transformation, I invite you to step into this 12-Day Reboot with me.
There’s nothing like this refreshing, rejuvenating cleanse to get your body back in balance, your system humming and create momentum sure to carry you into a total Transformation phase.
“Your 5 Reboot Rules are concise and easy to follow and very powerful. Life-changing!” -Kassie W., Santa Monica, CA
“I’m on day 10 of the 12-day Basecamp (Reboot) and I’ve dropped 11 lbs and 2.5 inches from my waistline… both bonuses I wasn’t expecting because the part that matters most is I feel great!” – Jeff S., (just outside) Nashville, TN
Sure, the ideal time to start the summer-shape up phase was a month or so ago but now is a hell of a lot better time to get going than a month from now.
If, like me, you want to transform intention into action, step into the next 12-Days with me. I’ll provide the tools, direction and support. I’ll be blogging every day (at FullStrengthLIFE.com ) starting TOMORROW which will have us Reboot-ed by Sunday May 16th.
That’s not a distant vision especially for feeling completely renewed and alive.
If you start today or tomorrow, that’s all good too. Doesn’t matter as you can follow along with my blogs and enjoy the ride.
The 12-Day Reboot
If you’re not familiar with the 12-Day Reboot from Strength for LIFE it’s the essential preparation phase that helps clear your body of excess toxins, balances blood sugar levels, helps you recover your Strength and energy and gets your mind and body back “on your side.”
The 12-Day Reboot is the antidote to the most devastating mistake I’ve recognized people make in trying to “get fit” or transform, which is to begin from a physical, mental and emotional deficit. Rather than stepping forward from a position of Strength, they are coming from weakness and the result is they fail before they begin.
The Basic Rules for the 12-Days
The 12-day Reboot is as simple as it is strict. You can eat as much of all the allowed foods you want, when you want, without having to count calories or servings. That means eating “Clean, Lean and Green.”
But…always the “but”… You can’t eat the “off limits” foods at all. Eat or drink one of the off-limits foods and like Monopoly you’re instantly back to “Go”–to day one all over again. Why? The point of the Reboot is in large to cleanse your body and stabilize your insulin and blood sugar. It gives your pancreas a much deserved vacation from producing insulin that often leads to fat storage.
The off-limit foods include all sugars, breads, dairy (except high-quality whey proteins as it’s lactose free), and alcohol. Oh yes, and nothing with wheat—not that I’m going full gluten-free but rather because most wheat is found in processed forms that spike insulin. These are all foods that are prone to spiking blood sugar and in turn insulin, leading to weight gain and stress on the body.
If you’re new to the 12-Day Reboot I invite you to try it with the Full-Strength 2-Week Challenge. The Challenge is basically one Full Strength Shake a day for two-weeks—and it may help to know it’s a 100% money back guaranteed experience. If you love it, great! If not, great. I carry all the risk for you.
The reason for the Challenge is that it really takes a couple of weeks for a person to feel the full impact of Full Strength. It’s easy to get caught up in its great taste and forget its true impact is so much more.
Over the course of a couple of weeks regular use you will really begin to feel the powerful energizing and insulin balancing power of the daily Full Strength shake. That’s where the magic happens.
I’ll definitely be leveraging the Full Strength for my every morning meal and encourage you to join me but it’s totally your call. Either way these 12-Days can be your gateway, and catalyst to an amazing fit, full strength summer!

Post: The 12-Day Reboot, It’s What Comes Before a Transformation

Shawn,
Perfect timing. I just committed to a 12-day reboot on Monday and contacted Sherrie to get fully stocked in a supply of Full Strength shakes (2 per day). Like you, I am sick and tired about how I feel. I just completed my doctoral dissertation, countless hours on the tennis court for our college team, and I’m finishing grading research papers for the spring semester. This while spending precious time away from my wife and three children. I can’t think of a better solution…a better time!
Thanks for your advice in Strength for Life…I was going to bypass the reboot and begin with the Transformation right away. I’m a bit anxious but I trust my body (and mind) will appreciate this two week process of renewal. I look forward to following your personal progress. Thanks for sharing your own struggles!! Thanks for being a tremendous personal coach throughout the years!!
Best, Steve
