Wooo Hoooo! Break out the streamers, blow them horns and ignite the fireworks…
It’s celebration time!
Okay, a little extreme. But if not a celebration how about a moment of recognition for this, our 100th Edition of StartStrongMonday.com.
One-hundred! “How can that be?,” You may be pondering… Well, certainly I’m not expecting that you’ve seen them all, but 100 there has been—not counting the occasional special encore editions.
This milestone surprised me too for it feels I’m just getting a rhythm—finding more engaging snippets of profundity—be it written, audio or video—for your amazement and amusement.
To mark this important milestone on our way to 1,000,000 SSM’s (okay, how about we shoot for 1,000 for now as the million would take some 19,000 years!) I’ve decided to jump in the way-back machine and share some of my personal all-time favorite, most popular bits of fitness and nutrition wisdom with you.
Looking forward, I’m most energized on what you most desire. Please, tell me how I can best help you? What insight and wisdom will help you to Live your Life @ Full Strength? Except the incident with the elephant, which I’ve no desire to get into again, It’s all fair game. Just ask…

Fun Facts About “The Big 100”
100 is a celebrated milestone in every aspect of life. And why not, it’s a lot! But to really get a feel for how big it is, you have to look at it’s massiveness in fresh ways.
Here are a few fresh ways to feel the shear size of this brilliant, historic number.
- 100 cars: Less than .001% of the excess stock the companies formerly known as “the big-3” are considering recycling at this moment.
- 100 dollars: Well, it ain’t quite what it used to be, even a few short months ago.
- 100 feet: A fall that would likely kill you but not high enough to be sure.
- 100 monkeys: Could make a massive shift in our collective consciousness or get you arrested.
- 100 days: Time enough to get fit, change your life and have a hell of a good time unless, of course, you spend it sitting on your ass and wait for the world to change.
- 100 years: Living to the century mark used to be a rare feat but will soon be common place–although it will still call for lots of glucosamine and may prohibit you from making athletics your career.
In closing, please share your thoughts and desires for future SSM’s with me in the comment section below.
Until Next Week…
Stay Strong,

Congratulations! A good example of persistency. I always enjoy SSM, even when it occasionally shows up on Tuesday or Wednesday
I think this is a good question and I’d love you answer to it. When is good……good enough? Growth, moving forward, setting goals etc. If a person is happy with there life and they could care less about these things, is that good enough? I have a friend who is 50lbs overweight but he deosn’t seem to care about getiing moving forward. I think I’m starting to iritate him with my suggestions and I’m starting to wonder if he’s happy, is that good enough?
Any thoughts.
Take care my friend, M

Wouldn’t it be great if there were something that would jumpstart your day with the deep satisfaction of great taste, exhilarating, sustainable energy, and the knowledge that it is good for your health long term and easily prepared? Oh, but wait — there is, and it’s Full Strength, which I have been enjoying now nearly every morning for over three years! I love it Shawn. I suggest it to my friends every chance I get. Full Strength has changed my life. And your book, Strength for Life, is the only essential book for those who want to enjoy their health way beyond good enough. Thank you! Best regards,

Congratulations! What a milestone – one eminently fit for gladness and celebration.
I thoroughly enjoy reading your weekly posts here, which provide me with both information and inspiration as I juggle: caring for my ill, elderly father; marriage; fatherhood; homeschooling our seven year old daughter; and my ongoing effort to start – and stay – strong.
I’m grateful for the nourishment Full Strength continues to offer me amidst my crazy schedule; I’m reading Strength for Life for the fourth time; I’m managing (somehow) to do my Focus Intensity Training (FIT – what an innovation!) and cardio training multiple times, weekly; and I’m deeply grateful for your presence and contributions.
I’ve needed positive news amidst the stress, hustle and bustle of my recent life – and your work, and this Start Strong Monday blog, continue to provide me with a rejuvenating dose of exactly that.
So thank you for all you do.

Congratulations to both of us. And thanks for helping me get there. Today I am Healthier and Stronger in my body and my mind. I Love you, for being the decent human being you are and really caring about others. And I hope this note makes YOU feel better knowing someone else appreciates you. I can’t wait for the next 100 Start SSM’s.
